SENATOR ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible to serve on the GSS, the candidate must be a graduate student enrolled in the college which they are seeking to represent, must be in good academic standing as defined by their specific college or school program guidelines, and must be enrolled as a graduate student for the entire upcoming year.
Note that the number of Senate seats for the current academic year is calculated from the previous year’s published Spring enrollment data (see the Grad Student Statistics page).
VOTING ELIGIBILITY
Per the GSS Bylaws Article I, any graduate student who is currently registered for at least one graduate-level course bearing a minimum of three (3) academic credits are eligible to vote in Graduate Student Senate elections.
